About Paroin

Paroin Advisory Group helps organizations make informed technology decisions. We bring experienced leadership perspective to questions about direction, platforms, investment, and change, helping business and technology leaders evaluate their options and establish a practical path forward.

Our purpose

Why Paroin exists

Technology decisions rarely stand alone. A new platform can affect how people work, what the organization spends, how information is protected, and who will support the solution after launch.

Leaders need advice that connects those considerations. Paroin helps organizations work through major technology decisions with a clear understanding of the business need, the available options, and the implications of moving forward.

Our approach is human-centered: we consider the people who will use, manage, and depend on the technology alongside the organization’s goals, responsibilities, and resources.

Our perspective

Experience that informs the advice

Paroin’s work draws on decades of technology leadership experience in global enterprises, life sciences, and regulated environments. That perspective includes leading collaboration and workplace programs, guiding platform transitions, evaluating major vendor commitments, and helping organizations navigate change across regions and functions.

Experience in regulated organizations brings an appreciation for accountability, security, documented decisions, and sustainable support. Those considerations are useful across industries, whether an organization is building its technology foundation or reconsidering a complex existing environment.

We apply that experience to each client’s circumstances, recognizing that a solution well suited to one organization may not align with another’s business objectives.

Our approach

How we approach technology decisions

01

Start with the business need

Establish what the organization needs to accomplish, who is affected, and what success should look like before narrowing the discussion to products or providers.

02

Evaluate the practical requirements

Consider security, integration, adoption, operating costs, and ongoing support alongside features and capabilities. Assess whether an option fits the organization’s capacity to sustain it.

03

Make the tradeoffs understandable

Explain the advantages, limitations, dependencies, and costs of credible options. Provide a recommendation with reasoning that leaders can examine and use.

04

Maintain alignment as plans develop

Help translate the chosen direction into priorities and next steps. Advice at key design and delivery milestones can help keep proposed solutions aligned with the original business objectives.

The relationship

Working with Paroin

An engagement begins with the decisions that need to be made. We work with leadership, internal teams, and selected delivery partners to understand the context, test assumptions, and develop useful recommendations.

Clients can expect candid conversations, clear priorities, and practical outputs shaped around the engagement. That might mean a decision brief, an investment roadmap, a platform recommendation, or ongoing executive advice.

Our role is to help leaders establish direction, challenge proposals constructively, and make informed choices as circumstances evolve.

When to engage

Where we add perspective

Paroin supports organizations facing growth, changing business needs, significant technology investments, or a need for additional leadership capacity.

Some engagements address a focused question, such as choosing a platform or preparing for a vendor renewal. Others provide a continuing perspective across connected technology priorities.

We work alongside existing teams and adapt the advisory relationship to the organization’s needs. The starting point is the challenge in front of you and the expertise needed to move it forward.
